NFL Thoughts – 2013-14 NFL Off-Season Guide

February 7, 2014 Leave a comment

The 2013-14 NFL season is officially in the books and man, was it a good one or what? We saw all sorts of unexpected things this year. We saw the lovely town of Seattle win their first professional football title. We saw the Kansas City Chiefs go from a two-win team to one of the best team’s in the NFL. We saw the Carolina Panthers go from having a a joke of a head coach to turning that same guy into the NFL Coach of the Year. We also didn’t see Tim Tebow start an NFL game this season, which is a good thing because finally the entire NFL world has come to the understanding that the guy just can’t throw a football. If Bill Belichick can’t find a way for you to contribute on the field, it might be time to embrace your inner acting and journalistic bone, which it appears as though Tebow is finally doing.

Anyway, with the 13-14 season behind us, it’s time to look ahead. Before we get to next season’s plate of games though, we have a wonderful thing called the NFL off-season and this little beauty is a guide that I wrote up to help NFL fans of all shapes and sizes see exactly what kind of shape their favorite NFL team is in headed into the off-season. In this guide, you will find all sorts of delicious information that I’m sure will overwhelm you, but that’s what the NFL off-season does to people. It can be exhausting. If you don’t believe me, just go interview your local favorite NFL general manager and ask him how much sleep he’s been getting. Chances are he’ll start repeating NFL combine 40 times and totally confuse the crap out of you.

So, without any further adieu. I present to you…..

NFL Thoughts – 2013-14 NFL Season Predictions

Welcome, welcome, welcome! If you are a regular reader here at “THE MAN-CAVE” you are more than likely familiar with me. My name is Dustin James and I’m the resident “moronic football predictor” around these parts. Football is easily my favorite sport and I get so excited at the start of the season that I just can’t resist predicting any and everything I possibly can. This year is no different. Since I spent a good two months on my college football preview here at “THE MAN-CAVE”, I decided to whip up some quick NFL predictions as well. By no means am I an “NFL expert”, I just happen to be a huge fan who wants to share his opinion with others. Last year I predicted the Baltimore Ravens to win the Super Bowl over the Green Bay Packers and while I kind of whiffed on the Packers, I absolutely nailed my Super Bowl pick. So, considering I’m on a roll right now with my NFL predictions, what do you say we stop wasting time and get to the good stuff already? Sounds good to me……

Steve Cook joins the Man Cave for our weekly NFL playoff chat. Then we’ll preview the conference title games, one of which should be really good while the other one could get pretty ugly.
